Creative Proteomics focuses on quantitative analysis services for proteomics. With our experienced
team and advanced mass spectrometry facilities, we provide you with a recognized
quantitative analysis service for mammalian plasma proteomes.
Mammalian plasma proteomes are a general term for proteins contained in
mammalian plasma and are usually divided into three types: albumin, globulin,
and fibrinogen. Plasma proteomes play an important physiological role and
undertake various physiological functions such as maintaining osmotic pressure,
transporting substances, and immune defense. Quantitative analysis of the
mammalian plasma proteomes is of great significance. Because many diseases
can lead to changes in the structure and quantity of proteins in plasma,
such changes are of great significance for disease diagnosis and curative
effect monitoring. The plasma proteomes quantitative analysis service provided
by Creative Proteomics can help you explore the occurrence and development
of diseases using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Service Content of Mammalian Plasma Proteomes Quantitative Analysis
In this service from Creative Proteomics, we deplete IgG and albumin in
mammalian plasma for quantitative analysis. First, we processed the samples
using multi-enzyme digestion filter aided sample preparation (MED FASP)
and analyzed the samples using the Q-Exactive mass spectrometer. Then,
protein abundance was calculated using the total protein method (TPA).
The data were subsequently validated using stable isotope-labeled peptide-based
protein quantification. At the same time, we were able to use the shotgun
method for high-throughput, quantitative analysis of hundreds of plasma
samples to quantify inflammatory markers such as the apolipoprotein family
and C-reactive protein.

Applications of Mammalian Plasma Proteomes Quantitative Analysis
-
Search for differentially expressed proteins in diseases and plasma markers
relevant for disease diagnosis.
-
Analysis of proteins in plasma that are structurally and quantitatively
altered is useful for diagnostic and efficacy monitoring of diseases.
-
Mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics now allows for highly specific
and quantitative readout of the plasma proteomes.
