Creative Proteomics has a unique insight into TMT-based proteomics analysis. With a strong
experimental team and mass spectrometry facilities representing international
standards, we can provide you with a full-flow TMT-based proteomics analysis
service to drive your research forward.
TMT is a technique commonly used to identify and quantify proteins in
different samples. The amine-reactive NHS-ester groups, mass normalization
groups, and MS/MS reporter groups are the main TMT labeling reagents. The
principle of this technology is that the isotope labels of different labeling
reagents have the same precursor mass, the peptides after enzymatic hydrolysis
are labeled with specific amino acid groups, and finally, the detection
reporter group is used. TMT technology can use up to 11 stable isotope
labels, can compare the relative content of proteins in up to 10 different
samples at the same time, and can label almost all peptide or protein samples,
so TMT technology is widely used in the research of protein biomarker discovery.
Service Content of TMT-Based Proteomics Analysis
"Silent" in MS mode, the TMT-based proteomics analysis service
quantifies only the reporter ions in the MS/MS spectrum. Creative Proteomics
uses mass spectrometry facilities to measure the ionic strength of the
fragment reporter group released by MS/MS labeling during peptide fragmentation.
In this service, for amine-reactive labels, the normalized region maintains
the label at a constant mass of 229. Therefore, using these labels, multiplexing
experiments of 2-8 folds can be performed. TMT-based proteomic analysis
has the characteristics of high parallelism, high accuracy, and high throughput,
and is a high-throughput screening technology commonly used in quantitative
proteomics in recent years. We can provide a range of services from sample
processing to bioinformatics analysis.
